We are seeking a highly motivated Management Accountant to join our client - a leader in Europe within the FMCG Industry.
This is a key role that combines management and financial reporting with a strong focus on systems development and process improvement.
You will play a pivotal part in delivering accurate weekly and monthly accounts, driving cost control, and enhancing finance systems to support business performance.
Key Responsibilities Prepare and report weekly accounts for specific cost/revenue centres, providing insights to drive business performance.
Deliver monthly management and financial accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations.
Partner with Operations on product yields, stock valuations, and labour cost analysis.
Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting and rolling forecasts, ensuring alignment with weekly/monthly reporting.
Lead finance systems development: Enhance ERP functionality across finance modules.
Implement and test new systems and reporting tools using BI software.
Automate processes and improve integration between Finance, Supply Chain, and Warehouse.
Identify and deliver process efficiencies and internal controls.
Manage finance-related projects, including planning, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
Collaborate with IT and technology teams to develop and improve solutions.
Support formal project and change management initiatives.
Undertake ad hoc financial projects as required.
What We're Looking For Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA Qualified Accountant Skills & Attributes: Strong financial and management accounting expertise.
Advanced Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Excellent project management skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality outputs.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to collaborate across departments.
Self-starter with attention to detail and accuracy.
