A fantastic opportunity in a leading tertiary Hospital for a Consultant with dual specialist registration in Respiratory Medicine and General (Internal) Medicine.
I am partnering with a major tertiary referral Public Teaching Hospital to appoint a Consultant in Respiratory Medicine. This is an opportunity to work in an environment that provides advanced modern respiratory diagnostics and Respiratory subspecialty services.
Outline of Duties:
Deliver Specialist care in a world class multidisciplinary environment.
Provide Consultant level care in Respiratory Medicine and in General (Internal) Medicine.
Provide expertise in outpatient clinics, respiratory diagnostics and inpatient wards.
Supervise and mentor NCHD’s and Specialist Respiratory AHP colleagues.
Provide input from own area of expertise to multidisciplinary teams on topics such as; ILD’s, Cancer, CF Pathways, Airways etc.
Requirements:
IMC Specialist registration in Respiratory Medicine & GIM or equivalent in another EU country or UK.
Relevant experience at Consultant Specialist level in a Respiratory Care Specialist referral centre.
Evidence of Clinical and people leadership.
Commitment to high‑quality patient care in a busy university hospital setting.
Existing authorisation to work in Ireland due to immediacy of this opportunity, e.g. EU citizen, UK citizen or existing work permit etc.
