Brilliant opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a 4 Partner firm in Dublin City Centre. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping with expertise in VAT, payroll processing, and management accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
* Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring timely compliance with regulations.
* Process payroll for multiple clients, including preparation of payslips, management of deductions, and compliance with tax regulations.
* Assist in the preparation of management accounts, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
* Reconcile bank accounts and ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in bookkeeping, with specific expertise in VAT and payroll.
* Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
* Strong attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
