We are seeking aHealth, Safety & Compliance Officerto join a leading manufacturing company based near Croom, Co. Limerick.The Health, Safety & Compliance Officer will play a key role in ensuring that all site activities are carried out in accordance with company, legal, and regulatory standards. Main duties include:Implementing and maintaining Health & Safety management systems in line with statutory requirements and company policies;Conducting regular site inspections, risk assessments, and internal audits to ensure ongoing compliance and identify areas for improvement;Supporting management and staff through training, guidance, and the promotion of a strong safety culture across all departments;Investigating incidents and near misses, preparing reports, and driving corrective and preventive actions;Maintaining accurate safety and audit documentation, records, and reports for both internal and external review;Assisting in the development and implementation of ISO and other compliance frameworks;Collaborating with department heads to review and update standard operating procedures (SOP's) and ensure adherence to best practices.BenefitsCompetitive salary (DOE)Full-time, permanent position;Monday to Friday schedule;Hands-on involvement in shaping safety and compliance practices;Supportive and collaborative work environment;On-site parking;Opportunities for ongoing training, development, and career progression;Safe and modern working environment with a strong focus on well-being.CriteriaRelevant qualification in Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or a related discipline;Proven experience in health and safety management, ideally within a manufacturing, construction, or industrial environment;Experience conducting internal audits (ISO 45001, ISO 9001, or similar) is essential;Strong knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation and best practices.Excellent attention to detail, organisational, and communication skills;Ability to influence, engage, and promote a proactive safety culture across teams;Confident in using MS Office and safety management systems.
