Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Cyber Security Analyst to help safeguard our digital assets and support our security initiatives. The successful candidate will monitor, analyze, and respond to security threats, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor networks, systems, and applications for security incidents and vulnerabilities.
* Investigate and respond to security alerts, incidents, and breaches.
* Assist in the implementation and management of security tools and technologies.
* Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential threats.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest cyber threats, trends, and best practices.
* Collaborate with IT and business teams to implement security policies and procedures.
* Prepare reports and documentation related to security incidents and compliance.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Knowledge of network security, endpoint security, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
* Familiarity with security standards, frameworks, and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).
* Understanding of operating systems, cloud environments, and common scripting languages.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP) are a plus.
