Job Title: Reservations Agent
This luxury resort in Co Carlow is currently recruiting a skilled hospitality professional to join their team as a Reservations Agent. This role is responsible for overseeing the room reservation process, including individual and group bookings, and assisting the Reservations Manager with daily tasks.
Responsibilities:
* Meet and exceed targets through effective revenue management and optimization strategies.
* Provide exceptional guest and customer service by ensuring seamless communication and timely issue resolution.
* Monitor email traffic and accurately record reservations, dates, prices, market segmentation, sources, and other relevant details.
* Manage no-shows and cancellations, processing charges according to hotel policy.
* Collaborate with the Sales team to identify leads and convert them into confirmed bookings.
* Liaise with the Reservations Manager to maximize room revenue, assist with revenue reporting, and provide details on hotel facilities and pricing information.
* Promote and up-sell estate facilities and amenities to enhance the overall guest experience.
* Effectively manage group blocks, including cut-off dates, deposits, and contracts.
Requirements:
* A minimum of two years' experience in a hotel reservations/front office role.
* Knowledge of Hotsoft is an advantage.
* Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.
* The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational, multi-tasking, and flexible work approach abilities.
