CONSTRUCTION GENERAL MANAGER
PAY RANGE €60,000 - €80,000 (negotiable & experience based)
+ Performance Bonuses
We are seeking for a responsible, hands on general manager, to manage and maintain oversight on our projects across Dublin.
You will be primarily based on the road, on our active construction sites & renovation jobs, supervising work, solving technical issues, dealing with clients, ordering materials and leading teams directly on the ground.
You will be responsible for managing multiple projects at the same time and dealing with architects, clients, builders and labourers, reading drawings, etc.
MUST HAVE TOP LEVEL UNDERSTANDING OF BUILDING REGULATIONS
Reporting to directors & architects.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Responsible for management of the construction site, including sub-contractors.
* Health & Safety compliance
* Familiar with BCAR & Building Regulations
* Day to day supervision of sites, ensuring all crews are on track, and given tasks.
* Liaising with a range of professionals i.e. Builders, Architects and Directors
* attending weekly meetings & meeting clients.
* Providing clear direction to workers, scheduling crews and managing time-frames.
* Effectively prioritise areas of work and meet strict deadlines
* Communicate well at all levels
* Ordering materials (ensuring measurements are accurate) and ensuring costs are controlled.
* Managing projects from start to completion.
* Providing hands on solutions to technical and operational on site challenges.
* Being present daily on site.
* Strong people management, being able to resolve issues as they arise.
* Proven experience managing construction projects.
a key candidate must have minimum of 15+ years of experience.
SAFE PASS, CLEAN LICENCE, Fluency in 2+ Languages not required but would be beneficial.
