The Opportunity:
We're seeking a dynamic National Sales Manager to lead sales efforts across Ireland. This role requires frequent travel to drive sales and expand market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coach and Develop the Sales Team: Inspire and mentor a team of Business Development Representatives, setting clear targets and fostering a high-performing environment.
* Drive Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop effective sales strategies to achieve targets and expand our presence across Ireland. Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
* Key Account Management: Build strong relationships with key customers, negotiating effectively to secure profitable deals and ensure optimal product placement.
* Delivering and Exceeding Sales Performance: Monitor and analyse sales performance, taking proactive measures to achieve and exceed sales targets and profitability goals.
* Champion the Brand: Represent the brand with passion and professionalism in all interactions.
* Sales Reporting: Analyse sales data and report performance of key accounts, regions, and new business development opportunities.
Your Profile:
* Proven Sales Leadership: Experience managing a field sales team within the Retail and Foodservice sectors, with a strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
* Key Account Expertise: Demonstrated success in building and managing key customer relationships and negotiating effectively. Commercially astute with excellent relationship building skills.
* Performance Coaching: Previous experience managing job performance and coaching.
* Irish Market Knowledge: A comprehensive understanding of trends in the Irish retail and foodservice markets.
* Strategic Sales Planning: Strong strategic skills with the ability to translate plans into practical actions to deliver tangible results.
* Results-Oriented Mindset: A driven and results-focused individual with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
* Excellent Communication & Influence Skills: The ability to articulate compelling arguments and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong Organisational Skills: Excellent planning and organisational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
* Full Driving Licence: Required for frequent travel throughout the country.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Essential for this role.
