Procurement Operations Manager
Role Overview:
The Procurement Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of accounts payable team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
* Lead a team of accounts payable specialists to achieve operational efficiency.
* Analyze accounts payable reports to ensure accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
* Collaborate with procurement and inventory teams to streamline processes.
* Work with IT department to optimize accounting software and systems.
Responsibilities:
* Team Management: Supervise and manage the accounts payable team.
* Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal teams.
* Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage the accounts payable aging report to maintain optimal cash flow.
* Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in accounts payable processes and implement improvements.
Requirements:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is advantageous but not necessary.
* Experience: 5+ years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
* Skills: Familiarity with ERP systems and process automation tools is an advantage.
