Job Summary
The Production Technician is a critical member of the production team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of moulding machines and processes. Their primary role involves operating moulding equipment, programming robots, and collaborating with other teams to validate new products.
Key Responsibilities
* Start up moulding machines and programme robots to optimize production efficiency.
* Identify, analyze, and resolve problems that may impact production quality or efficiency.
* Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
* Develop and implement scientific injection moulding approaches to validate new projects.
* Prepare detailed documentation of validation processes and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop optimum moulding processes and tooling that meet customer requirements.
* Ensure the accuracy and completeness of Quality System documentation.
* Participate in ongoing training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge in areas such as problem-solving, communication, and teamwork.
Requirements
* A level 6 qualification or higher in a relevant manufacturing/engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues associated with process development.
* Experience working with Fanuc and Demag machines, and Star robots.
* At least 1-2 years' experience in injection moulding processing and troubleshooting.
* Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality results.
