Internal Communications Advisor

Location: Dublin City Centre (Hybrid – 2 days office / 3 days home)

Hour: 9am-5pm with Flexibility to start earlier or later

Salary: €55K

CPL is partnering with well-established leading utilities company and is seeking an experienced Internal Communications Advisor to join its Corporate Affairs Directorate. This role sits within a high-performing team responsible for brand, insights, marketing, PR, stakeholder engagement, digital communications, and internal communications. We are looking for someone with experience in a similarly large or complex organisation. This role involves advising stakeholders, delivering engaging content, managing internal channels, and supporting cross-functional communications projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide advice to internal stakeholders on communication issues.
2. Support senior communications leads in delivering integrated, compliant communications.
3. Deliver communications for strategic organisational projects.
4. Build strong internal and external relationships to support effective communication.
5. Collaborate with teams across People & Safety, Corporate Communications, Brand & Digital, Media, Sustainability, and others.
6. Develop and implement channel and editorial strategies.
7. Source, write and publish daily/weekly content for intranet, employee magazine, and ezines.
8. Create audio/visual content to support communication objectives.
9. Manage intranet/SharePoint publishing, including updates, design and basic analytics.
10. Support governance, prioritisation and reporting within Corporate Affairs.
11. Contribute to health and safety commitments and compliance with information security standards.
12. Assist with transformation initiatives and cross-functional projects.
13. Occasional travel and out-of-hours event support required.

Skills & Experience

14. Strong experience working within integrated communications teams.
15. Relevant third-level qualification and/or accreditation (desirable).
16. Experience in utilities, water, or similar industries (desirable).
17. Experience managing or coordinating team workstreams.
18. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
19. Proven ability to handle complex issues and deliver high-quality outputs.
20. Highly motivated, adaptable, and results-focused.
21. Strong analytical, problem-solving and continuous improvement skills
