Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Project Systems Specialist to join our team. This key role will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution and completion of mechanical systems in various projects, adhering to quality, safety, and operational standards prior to handover.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Systems Evaluation: Conduct thorough inspections and assessments of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, piping, and process systems, to verify compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
2. Documentation Management: Oversee the compilation and review of turnover documentation, including as-built drawings, equipment manuals, inspection reports, and compliance certifications, ensuring all necessary paperwork is accurate and complete.
3. Collaboration: Work closely with project engineers, contractors, and operations teams to facilitate smooth communication and coordination regarding mechanical systems, addressing any issues or discrepancies that arise during final inspections and tests.
4. Testing and Commissioning: Collaborate on testing and commissioning activities, ensuring that all mechanical systems are operationally ready and that performance criteria are met.
5. Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure that all mechanical systems comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards, conducting audits as necessary to uphold safety and quality benchmarks.
6. Handover Support: Assist in the formal handover process, providing training and support to operations personnel and ensuring they are familiar with system functionalities and maintenance requirements.
7. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements, develop best practices for turnover processes, and contribute to ongoing team training and development initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, piping, and process systems.
* Proven experience in systems evaluation, documentation management, collaboration, testing, and commissioning.
