We at Cedarwood Furniture are seeking talented and enthusiastic individuals to fill the roles of Spray Painter & Production Staff in our Manufacturing Premises in Camross, Wexford.
Spray Painter:
Job Responsibilities:
* Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
* Apply paint and lacquer using spray equipment to achieve a high-quality finish on various surfaces.
* Maintain and clean spray equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
* Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) to maintain a safe working environment.
* Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications.
* Keep accurate records of materials used and work completed.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Spray Painter/Lacquer Sprayer or similar role.
* Proficiency in using spray equipment and tools.
* Knowledge of various painting techniques and materials.
* Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Production Staff:
Cedarwood are currently looking for motivated Production Staff to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manufacture and assemble custom kitchens and furniture to a high standard.
* Work from technical drawings and plans with attention to detail.
* Operate machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
* Assist in all areas of production, including cutting, edging, assembly, and finishing.
* Ensure quality control and maintain a tidy and safe workspace.
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience in joinery, or a similar production role is an advantage
* Strong practical skills and a good eye for detail
* Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative
* Good time management and reliability
* Commitment to quality and craftsmanship
