Applications invited for the following Post in the Technological University Dublin
Post:
Education and Transitions Officer (Aligned at the Research Assistant A scale for pay purposes only)School of Enterprise, Computing and Digital (Specified Purpose Wholetime for up to 24 months with funding confirmed for 20 months) (Reference: 502/2025)

Location:
The post will be based at one of the TU Dublin Campuses i.e. Aungier Street, Bolton Street, Grangegorman, Blanchardstown or Tallaght.

Hours of Work:
A 37 hour working week is in operation.

Salary:
The successful candidate will be appointed aligned to point (01) of the Research Assistant A Salary Scales for pay purposes only i.e. €33,291 gross per annum. Remuneration may be adjusted from time to time in line with Government pay policy. Incremental credit may apply in line with university policy.

It is anticipated that interviews for this post will take place in week beginning
26th January 2026
. The interview assessment will be
35
minutes in length.

* An undergraduate qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., Computing), or suitable experience, ie a second level teacher in any discipline.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse educator groups.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a project team.
* Organisational skills and experience in planning or delivering events or workshops.

Candidates will be shortlisted based on their demonstration of meeting every essential criterion so are asked to clearly outline how their experience and qualifications meet the criteria.
Desirable

* A background in computing education or a related discipline.
* Experience delivering or supporting teacher training or professional development.

Candidates may be shortlisted on the basis of none, one or more of these desirable criteria and are asked to clearly outline how their experience and qualifications meet the criteria.
