What Does Success Look Like
This role is responsible for maintaining and developing optimum cloud infrastructure that ensures stability, scale and performance. This will require working with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes and automating pipelines through Jenkins and Python.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and proactively come up with solutions to address complex issues and enhance scalability of the systems.
Deploy, automate, maintain, troubleshoot, and constantly improve the systems that keep the backend infrastructure running smoothly.
Maintain and improve continuous integration infrastructure and services (build, test, and package pipelines).
Help development teams set up and maintain their continuous integration pipeline and tools.
Responsible for peer and junior level review of code/work and ensure sharing of best practices within the team and on various platforms.
Working knowledge of modern, continuous development techniques and pipelines (Agile, Kanban, CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, Artifactory).
Building and maintaining microservices architecture in production using Docker and Kubernetes.
Spearhead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud infrastructure solutions.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to the cloud engineering team.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align cloud strategy with business objectives.
Architect highly available and scalable cloud environments.
Develop and enforce best practices for cloud security and compliance.
Lead initiatives to automate processes and improve operational efficiency.
What Makes You Qualified

The ideal candidate should have 4-5 years of work experience.
Strong hands‑on experience deploying SaaS products across major cloud providers (Azure, GCP, etc.).
4+ years’ experience in one or more programming languages – Python, Java, Go, Bash.
Decent skills in configuration management/IAC tools – Ansible and Terraform.
Good database management skills – MongoDB, Elasticsearch, MySQL, ScyllaDB, Redis, Kafka, etc.
Strong understanding and hands‑on experience of the cloud‑native landscape – orchestration using Kubernetes, observability, SecOps, etc.
Strong system skills – *nix systems administration background.
