This role is focused on managing projects to deliver defined scope, on time, and within budget, ensuring customer satisfaction.
As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will oversee all phases of the Solution Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from planning and requirements definition to design, development, testing, deployment, and transition to post-implementation support.
* Deliver projects with transparency of issues across vendors, business clients, and IT.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and assign work to project teams while maintaining oversight of progress and execution.
* Track and manage project budgets effectively.
* Collaborate with IT and business resources to recommend project delivery and implementation approaches that minimize risk and meet timeline and cost objectives.
* Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Implement and manage risk and issue controls, driving resolution of project issues via engagement with ITEs, Enterprise Architecture, business, IT, and supplier teams as necessary.
* Execute processes and procedures for managing and prioritizing project delivery and budgets, ensuring adherence to PMO methodology and governance guidelines.
* Assess and verify solution designs for scope, cost, timing, and milestone commitments.
* Coordinate day-to-day interactions with vendors and colleagues on solution delivery.
* Support systems retirements associated with solution implementation.
* Ensure compliance with release management and change management practices.
Requirements:
* Graduate or postgraduate qualification in STEAM subjects.
* PMP, PRINCE 2, APM, SAFE, or similar project management qualifications.
* 10+ years of relevant IT project management experience across the full project lifecycle.
* Experience in the full Software Delivery Lifecycle and large-scale systems implementation.
* Functional domain experience relative to IT projects in Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Supply Chain in automotive, industrials, or electronics industry settings is desirable.
* Desirable experience includes delivering capabilities such as Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Data Governance, Teradata, Informatica, SAP, CLM, Salesforce, and MAP.
