* Providing hands-on end-user support when required
* Managing and supporting cloud-based platforms and productivity tools
* Developing, maintaining, and communicating IT operating procedures
* Ensuring IT activities align with internal policies and standards
* Coordinating security testing, vulnerability remediation, and incident response activities
* Maintaining IT hardware and software inventories
* Supporting audits, risk assessments, and security-related documentation
* Liaising with internal teams on IT-related initiatives and projects
* Keeping technical knowledge current across infrastructure, cloud, and security topics
Occasional travel to other sites may be required.
Candidate Profile:
This role will suit an experienced IT operations or infrastructure professional who is comfortable working autonomously, managing service providers, and taking responsibility for the practical delivery of IT services.
Essential Requirements:
* 7+ years' experience in an IT operations, administration, or infrastructure role
* Strong hands-on experience supporting Microsoft-based environments (e.g. M365, endpoint management)
* Solid understanding of hardware, operating systems, and IT troubleshooting
* Experience with backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes
* Working knowledge of networking technologies
* Experience coordinating or managing third-party IT vendors
* Good understanding of information security fundamentals
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently
Desirable (but not essential):
* Relevant IT qualification or equivalent industry experience
* Cloud, endpoint, networking, or security certifications
* Experience supporting IT audits or compliance activities
* Exposure to IT project coordination or service improvement work
