Support the Publishing Process
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team that supports publishing and research activities. You will play a key role in helping publish books and journals, coordinating academic events, and assisting with publicity efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-level administrative support to the managing editor and publications team
* Assist with publishing, marketing, communications, and event organisation
* Liaise with in-house staff, freelance staff, external partners, and suppliers
* Manage records, process invoices and purchase orders, track income and expenses
* Coordinate communications across multiple projects
* Maintain accurate documentation and support day-to-day operations within the department
About the Role
You will be responsible for supporting the publications team in their daily tasks. This includes providing administrative assistance, coordinating events, and assisting with marketing efforts.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A third-level degree
* At least two years of experience in publishing, administration, or a similar office environment
* Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
* Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
* Confident IT skills, especially in SharePoint and Teams
* Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
