Compliance and Quality Assurance Professional
The key responsibilities of this role include the oversight of quality assurance initiatives, auditing and inspection processes, report compilation, and action plan implementation within defined timeframes. Ensuring breaches or safeguarding concerns are escalated where necessary is a critical aspect of this position.
Key skills and qualifications required for success in this role include a strong working knowledge of HIQA's National Standards for Children's Residential Centres and an excellent understanding of child protection and safeguarding principles.
Primary duties involve the monitoring of reporting and record-keeping efficiency across services, conducting audits and inspections to ensure ongoing compliance, completing reports and action plans within specified deadlines, and identifying any shortfalls or practice/policy compliance issues across services.
