Automation Project Manager
to lead and deliver
end-to-end automation projects
within a
regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
. The role is responsible for managing
medium to large capital projects
, ensuring delivery in line with
project management best practices
while meeting all
quality, compliance, cost, and schedule requirements
.
The ideal candidate is comfortable
to travel to client sites
, depending on the project phase and on-site activity needs.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Lead and execute
medium and large-scale capital automation projects
from
concept through commissioning and handover
.
* Manage the
full project lifecycle
, including
scope definition, planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication
.
* Oversee
upgrades to pharmaceutical processing equipment automation systems
.
* Drive
OT & IT systems integration
, including
network connectivity
,
data transfer solutions
, and
Active Directory integration
.
* Ensure all projects comply with
regulatory
,
quality
, and
safety standards
within a
GMP environment
.
* Coordinate
cross-functional teams
, including
engineering, automation, IT, quality
, and
external vendors
.
* Manage
project documentation
,
change control
, and
validation deliverables
.
* Monitor
project performance
, proactively identify
risks and issues
, and implement
mitigation plans
.
* Ensure projects are delivered
on time
,
within budget
, and in accordance with
approved specifications
.
Required Qualifications:
* Proven experience as
Project Manager
delivering
end-to-end automation projects
in
pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated industries
.
* Strong background in
capital project delivery
, including
automation systems
and
industrial controls
.
* Solid understanding of
OT/IT integration
,
industrial networks
,
data systems
, and
cybersecurity fundamentals
.
* Experience working in
GMP-regulated environments
with a strong focus on
quality and compliance
.
* Excellent
stakeholder management
,
communication
, and
leadership skills
.
* Ability to manage
multiple projects and priorities
in a
fast-paced environment
.
* Degree in Engineering, Automation, Computer Science
, or a
related discipline
(or equivalent experience).
