Our client is a leading Irish Engineering Consultancy which works on large and prestigious projects throughout the Ireland and internationally.
Based in a bustling city-center location, our welcoming Dublin team is working on a range of prestigious and innovative projects throughout Ireland.
This full-time role offers you the chance to join our busy planning and development infrastructure team and play a key role in delivering key schemes and developments across the country.
You'll be working on medium- and large-scale property development projects across a variety of sectors, including commercial, residential, retail and education.
You'll help prepare scheme designs for planning, detailed designs and tender packages, as well as subsequent monitoring on site, for roads and access, drainage, SUDs measures, water supply and utilities infrastructure associated with building projects in Dublin and the surrounding areas.
Requirements
Minimum of a Level 8 qualification in Civil Engineering from a recognised third level institution
5+ years experience in designing infrastructure for housing, apartments, schools, offices, industrial buildings and other forms of building.
Detailed knowledge of the applicable design standards in Ireland.
Knowledge of the Irish planning application process, Uisce Eireann and local authority design standards and the Irish Building Regulations
Experience in the planning and design of roads and highways, signage and markings, foul and surface water sewer networks, attenuation systems and pumping stations will be beneficial, as will familiarity with drainage network design software and standard traffic modelling software.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and you'll be skilled in preparing technical reports to a high standard.
