Our company is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee our operations. This role involves managing the entire production process, ensuring efficiency, safety, and high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and manage production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.
* Efficiently allocate resources, including machinery, labor, and materials, to meet production targets.
* Coordinate activities to avoid delays in client orders or any production phases.
Supervision & Team Management
* Lead and supervise production teams, including supervisors and operators, ensuring effective communication and proper task delegation.
* Provide training and development opportunities for the workforce, addressing performance issues and promoting safety awareness.
Quality Control
* Monitor and uphold product quality, ensuring all outputs meet established standards and specifications.
* Implement quality assurance protocols to promptly identify and resolve defects.
Equipment & Maintenance Management
* Ensure that all machinery is properly maintained and repaired, minimizing downtime.
* Work closely with the maintenance team to implement preventive maintenance measures to maximize operational efficiency.
Health & Safety Management
* Enforce compliance with safety regulations and foster a culture of safety across the workshop.
* Oversee the safe handling of hazardous materials and ensure regular safety training for all team members.
Inventory & Materials Management
* Maintain accurate raw material inventories to avoid production disruptions.
* Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of materials and minimize waste.
Cost Control & Budgeting
* Track labor, material, and operational costs, proposing measures to improve profitability.
* Identify inefficiencies and implement cost-saving strategies to improve the overall financial performance of the workshop.
Production Reporting & Documentation
* Keep detailed and accurate records of production data, including output, downtime, and quality metrics.
* Prepare and present performance reports to management for review.
Continuous Improvement & Lean Manufacturing
* Implement lean manufacturing practices to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
* Regularly evaluate production processes and identify improvement opportunities.
Collaboration with Other Departments
* Coordinate with design and engineering teams to meet technical specifications for each project.
* Align production schedules with sales and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
Compliance with Industry Standards
* Ensure the workshop complies with environmental, industry, and governmental regulations.
* Stay updated on best practices and integrate innovative manufacturing technologies to improve production methods.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a similar production management or leadership role within a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
* Strong knowledge of steel fabrication processes and the associated machinery.
* Experience with production planning, scheduling, and team management.
* Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and a focus on continuous improvement.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
