Energy Regulatory Analyst Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for an analytical and curious individual to work in the dynamic field of energy regulation. The successful candidate will support the analysis of policy and regulatory developments to achieve optimal market conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver policy and regulatory analyses to optimize market performance in partnership with commercial, business development, regulatory, and construction colleagues.
* Monitor and seek specialist advice to ensure knowledge of the commercial, political, environmental, regulatory, and socio-economic landscape is current and relevant.
* Support regulation specialists, business leaders, operational managers, and business developers by providing detailed analysis of the impact of regulation from a commercial and legal standpoint changes.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated work experience acquired following post-graduate studies.
* Previous work experience and sound business knowledge of the electricity supply sector, both technically and commercially.
* Understanding of the Single Electricity Market (SEM) is desirable.
The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, be able to communicate complex ideas effectively, and possess a strong understanding of the commercial and technical aspects of the electricity supply sector.
