Co-operative Housing Ireland (CHI) is the national organisation representing, promoting and developing co-operative housing in Ireland. CHI is an Approved Housing Body (AHB) and a member of the Housing Alliance. CHI work with various stakeholders in the housing sector, including Local Authorities, Government, aspiring homeowners, tenants and developers and is subject to regulation by the Approved Housing Bodies Regulatory Authority and the Charities Regulator. Since our foundation in 1973 we have provided over 5,700 homes through homeownership, shared ownership and social rented co-operatives. With our membership of democratically controlled local co-operatives, we manage over 6,000 homes across the country.
ROLE OVERVIEW
Co-operative Housing Ireland is seeking a full-time, permanent Property Services Team Leader to join our Asset Management & Property Services division (AMPS). The role is based on site in our Dublin West Office located at 7th floor, The Generali Building, Navan Road, Dublin 15.
The role will work 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Initially starting; 09:00 - 17:00hrs.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
* Oversee day-to-day operational activities of the Property Services team, reporting directly to the Property Services Manager with initial 18-month period reporting directly to the Director of Asset Management.
* Review, develop and implement operational processes and procedures to ensure the efficient, compliant and consistent delivery of Property Services functions.
* Provide day-to-day supervision, support, coaching and training to Property Services Clerical Officers, ensuring high standards of performance and service delivery.
* Manage and oversee administrative and financial processes relating to Fleet Management, Insurance, Local Property Tax (LPT), Landlord Utility budgets, Stat Compliance Administration.
* Work collaboratively with the Finance Department to ensure accurate and timely processing and uploading of contractor and supplier invoices payments.
* Act as the primary point of contact for Property Services-related complaints, escalations, data requests and operational queries, ensuring timely resolution.
* Monitor team performance through agreed KPIs, providing regular one-to-one and group performance reviews, feedback and development support.
* Promote and embed a culture of teamwork, accountability and effective communication in line with the AMPS Culture framework.
* Ensure accurate record-keeping, data integrity and effective use of CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
* Prepare and provide regular operational reports, performance data and updates to the Property Services Manager, Regional Asset Managers, Head of Asset Management and Director of Asset Management.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives across Property Services, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and team knowledge.
REQUIREMENTS
Essential
* Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in a similar supervisory or team leadership role.
* Proven experience managing and supporting staff in an office-based or administrative environment.
* Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
* High level of administrative, IT and problem-solving capability.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including SharePoint, Excel and Word.
* Experience using CRM or property management systems.
* Permission to work in Ireland.
Desirable
* Experience working within the social housing, property services housing sector environment.
* Knowledge of housing compliance, contractor payment processes or asset management functions.
