Galway An established and reputable Galway-based construction company with a strong track record in residential, commercial, and public-sector projects is seeking to appoint a Contracts Manager to oversee multiple live projects across the region. This is a key senior position within the company, created to support continued growth and deliver excellence across a diverse portfolio of projects. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management, providing leadership and coordination across several site teams, while ensuring that all projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. With over two years of secured work, the company has a strong pipeline in Galway and a reputation for quality delivery. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and support 34 Site Managers across multiple live projects. Coordinate with design teams, ensuring smooth information flow and timely issue of drawings and approvals. Attend and lead progress and coordination meetings across all sites. Oversee subcontractor performance, resource allocation, and material procurement. Manage and implement company health & safety systems in coordination with site teams and external advisors. Control project programmes, budgets, and procurement schedules. Ensure effective use and movement of company and hired plant between sites. Work closely with Quantity Surveyors and purchasing teams to manage project finances and monthly valuations. Provide clear communication and leadership to site management teams. Ideal Candidate: Experienced Contracts Manager or Senior Site Manager ready to progress into a contracts management role. Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects. Proven experience in residential, commercial, or public-sector construction. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Understanding of programme management, health & safety compliance, and commercial awareness. Based in, or willing to work in, the Galway / West of Ireland region.
