Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Health & Safety Advisor to join our growing team in Naas. The successful candidate will support the implementation of DECI's Health & Safety Management System and help promote a positive safety culture across our projects. This role will be based in our Naas office, with travel to project sites throughout Europe as required. All travel-related costs, including flights, accommodation, and expenses, will be fully covered by the company.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the implementation and continuous improvement of DECI's Health & Safety Management System.
* Conduct site audits, inspections, and risk assessments under the guidance of senior HSE personnel.
* Assist in maintaining compliance with local regulations and company safety standards.
* Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and safety briefings to employees and subcontractors.
* Support the investigation of incidents and the preparation of reports and corrective actions.
* Maintain safety documentation, records, and reports.
* Promote awareness of safe work practices across all DECI projects and offices.
Requirements
* Degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or a related discipline.
* Relevant certification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent).
* Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a construction, engineering, or commissioning environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Flexibility to travel to project sites across Europe as required.
* Proficiency in MS Office and safety reporting tools.
