Construction - UK, MEP and Fire Engineering
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager (M&E) to play a key role in the successful delivery of a large-scale project in Galway city. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all Mechanical and Electrical aspects, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities
* Attend project start-up meetings and manage all Mechanical and Electrical project requirements.
* Review and understand all project specifications and details.
* Collate and track technical submittals through to approval.
* Manage the labour tracker and maintain weekly progress reports, including changes and variations.
* Liaise with main contractors and the client’s site team.
* Oversee coordination and delivery of project plant, equipment, and materials.
* Ensure construction and commissioning programmes are implemented and adhered to.
* Manage project handover processes and maintain document management systems.
* Schedule project-specific activities and ensure subcontractor performance meets timelines.
* Attend regular site and subcontractor meetings, actioning any key points raised.
* Communicate innovative project-specific solutions to senior management.
Qualifications & Experience
* Extensive project management experience within the M&E industry.
* Proven track record of delivering large-scale M&E projects successfully, on time and within budget.
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing large teams (PMs, Site Managers, Foremen, etc.).
* A qualification in Construction or Project Management is preferred.
