Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the preparation and execution of dishes, particularly grilled steaks and meats, to the highest standard.
* Work closely with the Head Chef to manage the kitchen's daily operations.
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, ensuring consistency in food quality.
* Assist in menu planning and development, focusing on fresh, high-quality ingredients.
* Maintain a clean and efficient kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Monitor inventory levels and place orders when necessary.
* Step into leadership roles when required, ensuring smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Senior Chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
* Extensive experience with grilling and cooking premium meats, especially steaks, to perfection.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain high standards during busy service.
* Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety standards.
* Passionate about delivering an exceptional dining experience through high-quality cuisine.
* Culinary qualifications are a plus.
