We are working with a leading international law firm who are seeking an Associate Solicitor to join their Pensions team within their Dublin office.
The Role
The successful candidate will join a renowned Pensions practice, working on a range of high-profile, complex matters for some of the largest pensions schemes and company sponsors in Ireland. The candidate's work will focus on matters such as master trusts, pension regulation, and pension risk transfer and buy-outs.
The candidate will undertake a strongly commercial role, working on commercial agreements and pension change documents, providing advice to both trustees and corporates, and to regulatory bodies and master trust providers. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in business development initiatives while managing client relationships.
Essential Criteria
* 1-4 PQE;
* Strong background pensions law and Irish pensions regulation within a medium to large commercial or boutique law firm;
* Ability to demonstrate strong commercial awareness;
* Outstanding academics;
* Technically excellent;
* Negotiation skills;
* Willingness to become involved in business development;
* Ability to work independently and as a team.
