Position Overview
Renewable Engineers – Ireland at SLR Consulting.
SLR’s mission is to make sustainability happen. The engineering teams are recruiting a project delivery team in Ireland focused on process engineering, project and contract management, and civil engineering, with opportunities to work on renewables such as biomethane, biomass, solar, battery storage, and wind, and to support projects across the UK and continental Europe.
Responsibilities
Process engineering – design review, process calculations, mass and energy balances.
Project and contract management – FIDIC, IChemE, NEC contracts, cost control, forecasting.
Commissioning and performance testing.
Civil engineering – design review, detailed design, outline design.
Interface management with clients and contractors.
Prepare technical due diligence, feasibility studies, and front‑end engineering reports.
Support proposal development and business development activities.
Essential Qualifications
Degree in Engineering or a related subject.
Experience in process and/or civil engineering on renewable energy projects.
Strong analytical skills, confident with data and report writing.
Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Well‑organized, logical thinker, friendly and outgoing with excellent communication skills.
Full, current, clean driving licence with ability to travel.
Resident or eligible to work in Ireland.
Desirable Qualifications
Master’s degree.
Chartered Engineer (or working towards a professional qualification or membership of a professional body).
Project management experience of renewable energy projects within a consultancy environment.
