About the Role
Ensure compliance with and implementation of customer-specific work processes and procedures.
Responsible for the effective coordination, progress chasing and management of all required communications specific to the day-to-day import/export of shipments, in line with customer requirements and contractual agreements in place.
Responsibilities
Entry of shipments and processing of export orders
Supporting and advising the customers and agents
Preparation and monitoring of quotation offers
Ensuring and processing billing to customers
Processing of special orders, as well as complaints
Preparation of delivery dockets, customs documents, etc.
Monitoring appointments
Documentation and optimisation of workflows
Support of supervisors in projects
Documentation and filing of files
Performing general administrative tasks
Execute all Dangerous Goods shipments in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations (as applicable).
Minimum Requirements
A minimum of 2 years of experience in Air Exports within the local market and ideally someSea Freight Forwarding experience.
Strong knowledge of customs brokerage processes, regulations, and classification, valuation, and origin procedures.
Familiarity with documentation processes for ocean, air, and road shipments.
Certification in Dangerous Goods (DGR) is desirable.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive, organised approach to work.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
Fluent in English and eligible to work full-time and permanently onsite without visa restrictions.
