Job Summary
As a Regional IT Specialist, you are responsible for supporting Client technology and services for NetApp employees located in Cork, Ireland Netapp and other geographic regions where NetApp resides. This includes but not limited to Desktop/Laptop break/fix, reimaging, troubleshooting, Audio/Visual Conference Room support including some event support, desk & mobile phone support. Additionally you may be asked to assist with telecom, switch, network, idf racking…etc in the local office infrastructure changes required at location. You may also travel between locations to provide onsite support, training, and issue resolution. This is an internal user-facing role where your skill at maintaining and developing relationships with internal customers is crucial.

The essential functions of this role include:Laptop/Desktop Break-Fix, Remote Desktop Support, Support OS, variety of applications, security agents/services, and hardware issues for users (MAC OS, Windows, IOS, Android)Work with IT Infrastructure teams to setup and maintain existing infrastructure environments and assist with local changes. Provide user training and education.Reimaging with Data transfer a requirementNew HW delivery and setupPrinter installation and troubleshootingConference room support, maintenance and project assistance refreshing technologyKnowledge of Office 365 application usage criticalKnowledge of ITIL processes with a focus around Incident, Problem and Change Management.Responsibility and Interaction:Responsibility: The types of tasks this individual is responsible for are a mix of regular and unstructured; and assignments are moderate in scope.Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices.
