Job Title: Network Planner
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Planner to join our team in Letterkenny on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an entry-level role, and training will be provided.
The ideal candidate will have key involvement in FTTX network modelling, including planning the delivery infrastructure, producing maps and drawings, and providing support to our staff and clients.

About The Role
This office-based position involves designing Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTX) networks across Ireland and internationally. You will have a key role in FTTX network modelling, including planning the delivery infrastructure, producing maps and drawings, and providing support to our staff and clients.
1. Main Responsibilities:
2. Designing fibre networks using various tools (ARC GIS, Solid Works, FME)
3. Planning Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTX) networks, including:
* Creating detailed network designs
* Validating fibre routes, identifying key entry points, and checking for potential issues (e.g., poles, wires, and ducts)
* Preparing materials lists and construction documents
* Ensuring designs meet client standards
* Providing project updates and data analysis
* Quality checks, reports
4. Key Skills and Qualifications:
* IT literate with MS packages
* Strong Time Management skills
* Excellent communication skills, verbal & written
* Positive approach to problem-solving
* Strong desire to continually improve performance
* Ability to work as part of a team and independently
* Flexibility to travel (if required)
* Full clean driving license
5. Desirable Skills:
* Experience with ArcGIS products and tools
* Experience in the communications, electrical or other related utilities industries
* Experience with any Design Tool systems such as: AutoCad, Revit, IQGEO, QGIS, FME, Smallworld
