Purpose:
To provide exceptional customer service to Winemark customers in accordance with Company standards and procedures.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain excellent customer relations by providing top-notch customer service at all times, including up-to-date knowledge of store products on display.
* Identify and capitalize on selling opportunities.
* Ensure housekeeping standards are met both inside and outside the store according to Company standards.
* Control and merchandise stock to meet Company standards at all times.
* Assist with promotional set ups.
* E nsure the premises are safe and secure at all times.
* Comply with Company regulations regarding cash handling and administration.
* Adhere to health and safety guidelines and licensing/trading standards legislation.
* Perform any other duties relevant and related to the role.
Qualifications:
Essential Maths and English GCSE Grade C or above or equivalent.
Skills & Experience:
* Three months previous experience in a retail environment.
* Excellent communication skills, demonstrated through effective internal and external customer interaction.
* Customer-focused, maintaining professional levels of customer service and identifying accurately the needs of internal and external customers.
* Ability to actively sell to customers.
* Pleasant, positive, and enthusiastic attitude with an appropriate level of motivation.
* Good standard of dress and appearance - clean and well-groomed.
* Able to work effectively within a team environment.
