Job Title: Health and Safety Lead
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Lead to join our team on a large Data Centre project in Helsinki. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with company safety management systems, EHS laws, and project execution plans.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and manage task-specific Method Statements, Risk Assessments, permits, and safety interventions.
* Maintain good safety practices through regular site audits, C.O.S.H.H assessments, and hazardous substance control.
* Oversee staff induction, training, and ensure subcontractors adhere to EHS policies.
* Manage project PPE, welfare, and hygiene facilities, ensuring they meet requirements.
* Assist with accident investigations and keep the Safety File documentation up to date.
* Participate in daily briefings and maintain waste reduction and recycling programs according to project policies.
Requirements:
* 6+ years experience in a similar role.
* A relevant Health and Safety qualification.
* Team player and able to build and maintain relationships both internal and external clients.
* Flexible to change and open to constructive feedback.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
* IT Skills Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

* Salary €100,000 to €115,000 DOE
