Job Role:
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for coordinating and overseeing maintenance activities within their assigned area. This role acts as the central link between maintenance workstreams, ensuring alignment across teams.
1. Maintenance tasks are executed safely, timely, and compliantly in line with established procedures.
2. Continuous improvement initiatives are actively pursued to enhance operational efficiency.
3. Safety and quality standards are promoted and enforced throughout maintenance activities.
4. Troubleshooting of maintenance issues within area of responsibility is carried out effectively.
5. The planning and scheduling of preventive and corrective maintenance activities are managed to ensure completion according to schedule.
6. Work plans are documented and updated regularly to reflect accuracy.
7. Craft disciplines and vendors are coordinated to execute maintenance activities to the highest standards.
8. Documentation of work follows ALCOA+ principles.
9. Meetings are scheduled, chaired, and attended to ensure maintenance activities are appropriately scheduled.
10. Techincal guidance is provided for area of responsibility and issues escalated accordingly.
11. Flexibility is required to support other areas within the Maintenance team and participate in project and best practice initiatives.
12. Failures are investigated and solutions proposed to prevent reoccurrence.
13. Technical assistance is provided to craft personnel on the CMMS.
14. Craft allocation is managed to respond to changing priorities.
