They are seeking an experienced
Director of Operations
with a strong background in Food & Beverage as well as Rooms to provide support the General Manager.
Role Responsibilities:
* Oversee day-to-day operations across rooms, food & beverage, spa, and leisure facilities, ensuring seamless delivery of service standards.
* Develop, implement, and maintain operational policies and procedures aligned with the hotel's luxury brand standards.
* Monitor performance metrics to ensure operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, and profitability.
* Lead, mentor, and motivate department heads and staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
* Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
* Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management across all departments.
* Ensure high standards of guest service, anticipating and exceeding guest expectations.
* Address guest feedback promptly, maintaining the hotel's reputation for world-class hospitality.
* Drive initiatives that enhance the overall guest journey, from arrival to departure.
* Prepare and manage operational budgets, controlling costs while maximising revenue opportunities.
* Analyse financial and operational reports to optimise profitability and efficiency.
* Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support occupancy targets and brand positioning.
* Ensure all areas of the hotel comply with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
* Oversee maintenance and capital projects to maintain the luxury standard of the property.
* Partner with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effective services.
* Identify opportunities to enhance operations, service offerings, and guest satisfaction.
* Support the General Manager in long-term planning and implementation of strategic initiatives.
* Stay informed on hospitality trends and competitor performance to maintain market-leading standards.
Candidate Requirements:
* Extensive experience in senior operations roles within luxury hotels, resorts, or high-end boutique properties.
* Proven track record of leading multi-department teams and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
* Strong leadership and team management skills; ability to inspire and develop department heads.
* Excellent understanding of hotel operations, including rooms, F&B, spa, wellness, and leisure facilities.
* Budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
* Strategic thinker with ability to improve processes, drive revenue, and enhance guest satisfaction.
* High level of interpersonal and communication skills, with focus on guest service excellence.
* Familiarity with health, safety, and regulatory compliance in hospitality operations.
* Knowledge of luxury market trends, brand standards, and Michelin-level service expectations.
