They create mathematical models, develop dynamic simulations, and perform pattern analyses of biological systems.Essential FunctionsAssist in the analysis of biological data using bioinformatics tools and software.Perform data processing, quality control, and database maintenance.Collaborate with research teams to understand their data analysis needs.Support the development and implementation of data analysis pipelines.Conduct basic statistical analyses and data visualization.Participate in the interpretation and presentation of results.Working under very general supervision, the Bioinformatics Analyst will have demonstrated independent design and innovation in one or more of the following areas of specialization: algorithm development, data analysis, quality assurance/testing, pipeline software/computing development, user interface design & report development, web-based application development, or report development.Required for All JobsPerforms other duties as assignedComplies with all policies and standardsDoes this position require Patient Care (indirect/direct)?
