Executive Housekeeping Manager Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team at our luxurious resort. As an Executive Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all guest areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in luxury hospitality, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional results. You will be responsible for interviewing, selecting, training, and supervising the housekeeping team to ensure efficient operations.

You will also maintain five-star service standards by regularly inspecting rooms and public areas and ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures. Additionally, you will efficiently schedule staff, manage inventory, and liaise with other departments to coordinate efforts.


Key Responsibilities:

* Team Leadership: Interviewing, selecting, training, and supervising the housekeeping team to ensure efficient operations.
* Quality Standards: Maintaining five-star service standards by regularly inspecting rooms and public areas and ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures.
* Resource Management: Efficiently scheduling staff, managing inventory, and liaising with other departments to coordinate efforts.
* Communication and Coordination: Organizing pre-shift and departmental meetings, communicating important information, and addressing any guest or owner concerns promptly.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent experience.
* Proven track record as a Housekeeping Manager in a similar luxury resort.
* Knowledge and experience of Forbes five-star hospitality is an advantage.
* Excellent ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
* A commitment to excellence and the highest standards of cleanliness.
* Ability to manage budgets, track inventory, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
* Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a diverse team.
* Ability to effectively delegate tasks and ensure proper execution.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Guest focused, prioritizing guest satisfaction and providing exceptional service.
* Ability to adapt to changing situations and work under pressure.
