Role Summary Our veterinary oncology team is seeking a skilled and experienced Specialist Clinician to support the continued growth and strategic expansion in small animal oncology. The ideal candidate will have expertise in treating various forms of cancer, particularly those affecting small animals. They will work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including clinicians, researchers, and support staff. The role involves delivering high-quality patient care, conducting research projects, teaching medical students and contributing to departmental service activities as needed. As an integral member of our team you will also be expected to participate in clinical governance activities such as peer review meetings or quality improvement initiatives. Responsibilities: * Provide expert clinical services for patients with complex cases of cancer * Conduct original research projects in veterinary oncology under the guidance of senior faculty members * Educate undergraduate students about relevant topics related to veterinary medicine through formal lectures or informal discussions within educational programs * Collaborate effectively with colleagues across different departments & units within UCD Veterinary Hospital Benefits: ', '
