Job Title: Supervisor Role - Water Hygiene TeamResponsible To: Managing Director/Compliance & Operations Manager of Water HygieneThe Supervisor of the Water Hygiene Team is responsible for overseeing the delivery of water hygiene services in line with company standards, client requirements, and legal obligations. This includes supervising the team, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations, coordinating site activities, maintaining high levels of customer service, and reporting to management on progress, performance, and issues which may arise.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervision & Team ManagementLead, manage, and support the Water Hygiene Operatives on a daily basis.Allocate tasks to team members, ensuring efficient and timely completion of works.Provide guidance, coaching, and on-the-job training to new and existing team members.Monitor team performance, ensuring standards of quality, safety, and professionalism are consistently met.Act as the first point of contact for the team, escalating issues to management where necessary.Operational DutiesOversee delivery of water hygiene services including but not limited to: temperature monitoring, sampling, inspections, tank cleans, flushing regimes, and remedial works.Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with company RAMS, method statements, and client specifications.Undertake site audits and inspections to verify quality and compliance.Ensure all team members complete required documentation accurately and on time.Liaise with our Compliance & Operations Manager of the Water Hygiene team to plan and prioritise daily and weekly workloads.Health, Safety & ComplianceEnsure all team members adhere to the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work Act 2005 and associated legislation.Carry out site-specific risk assessments prior to works commencing.Enforce the correct use of PPE, safe systems of work, and company equipment.Report accidents, incidents, near misses, and equipment defects promptly to management.Ensure all team members are aware of and comply with fire safety and site-specific safety requirements.Customer Service & RepresentationAct as the primary on-site representative of the company.Maintain professional conduct and customer service standards at all times.Liaise directly with clients regarding site works, progress updates, and customer feedback.Promote and upsell company services when appropriate.Reporting & AdministrationProvide regular updates and reports to management on job progress, team performance, and site issues.Ensure all job-related documentation (checklists, risk assessments, service reports) is completed and submitted promptly.Support management in performance reviews and appraisals of team members.Person SpecificationEssential:City & Guilds / equivalent qualification in Plumbing, Legionella Control or Water Hygiene.Previous experience in water hygiene, legionella control, or related field.Proven experience in a supervisory or lead role.Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and safe systems of work.Full, clean driving licence.Good communication and leadership skills.Ability to complete and review risk assessments and method statements.Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.Desirable:Experience with client liaison and customer service.First Aid / Health & Safety training.IT literacy for completing reports and scheduling updates.Key Competencies· Ability to work effectively as part of a team while upholding the company's values and integrity.Leadership and team management.Attention to detail and quality control.Health & safety awareness.Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage workloads effectively.Professionalism and accountability.To Apply:Interested candidates should submit their CV via this job portal.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €28,696.20-€50,000.00 per yearBenefits:Company carOn-site parkingSick payWork Location: On the road
