Lead Kitchen Team
This exceptional opportunity is for an experienced and creative chef to oversee all aspects of kitchen operations including menu development, food preparation, and presentation in a vibrant, quality-focused restaurant renowned for its fresh, locally sourced produce and exceptional standards.
Responsibilities:
* Direct and motivate the kitchen team to deliver outstanding food and service daily
* Develop and implement menus that showcase creativity and precision with seafood dishes
* Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships to maintain operational efficiency
* Implement and maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards in line with HACCP regulations
* Train, develop, and motivate kitchen staff to perform at their best
* Work closely with management to achieve financial targets
* Maintain a positive, professional, and team-oriented kitchen culture
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-quality restaurant, ideally with a focus on seafood
* Excellent culinary skills and creativity with a strong appreciation for seasonal ingredients
* Strong leadership and communication abilities with a hands-on approach
* Good knowledge of HACCP and all food safety procedures
* Ability to manage costs and budgets effectively
* Passionate, organised, and driven to maintain and exceed high standards
