Job Profile:
Are you interested in working with a multinational biopharmaceutical organization with a far-reaching presence capable of making a pronounced impact on healthcare. They are actively seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator on a 12-month contract for site wide role to provide a key link in supply chain between customers and intercompany and third-party supply sites and markets.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Ensure that adequate production is taking place with the Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) in order to meet customer demands.
2. Support the on-time delivery of Purchase Orders from CMO's, and interact with Market Supply Planning, Customer Liaison, Customer Service, CMO Site Planning, and Virtual Plant Team (VPT) in achieving the on-time delivery of Purchase Orders.
3. Act as External Manufacturing (ExM) contact for internal and external customers for product inquiry, shipments and scheduling activities.
4. Ensure purchase orders are placed in a timely manner according to contractual requirements & to meet project timelines etc.
5. Review and update open order reports and track order exceptions and communicate unresolved issues to the Supply Chain Manager.
6. Support synchronization of orders from MSP and other customers to support campaign timing and consumption of tolled material.
7. Implements standard processes for efficient and effective communication of information from CMO to customer for example: open order reporting & shipping plan communication.
8. Ensures CMO provides open order confirmations through agreed process.
9. Proactively supports CMO and customer requests/queries in relation to supply, demand, logistics requirements, artwork change implementation, ship on test requests etc. Support ad hoc market and customer requests for information.
10. Ensure CMO supply chain team is kept up to date in relation to regulatory approval status to allow on time production to occur.
11. Act as the main point-of-Contact between Planning and the CMO for resolution of supply issues that may impact Customer Service in the market.
12. Act as the interface with Quality, Manufacturing Technology, Supplier Relationship Manager, and Procurement to support resolution of any supply risks that may impact Customer Service levels.
13. Work with CMO and MSP team/Customer to manage shortages/allocations and stock-outs in the market.
14. Proactively determines the impact of supply disruption, quality events on market supply & keeps VPT and customer informed of such impact.
15. Supports gathering of information for investigations and MAFF meetings. Acts as delegate for the Supply Chain Manager at MAFF meetings as required.
16. Coordinate product reworks/redress at CMO site, as required by the business.
17. Provide input into performance metrics analysis and comments (RTP, Backorders, Anticipated Backorders).
18. Execute and support priority planning as necessary through review of Backorder/Anticipated Backorder (BO/ABO) information and customer inventory levels.
19. Provides monthly forecast to CMO to account for delivery requirements in long-range planning horizon.
20. Support and lead projects as required.
Skills & Qualifications:
21. Supply Chain or Business qualification - Diploma standard
22. 5 years + Supply Chain experience in global manufacturing and supply environment, preferably in a similar role.
23. Knowledge of ERP, ideally SAP and SAP BW reporting, Kinaxis Rapid Response and related data analysis tools.
24. Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills to multiple levels within the Business
25. Detailed knowledge of Contract Manufacturing Supply Chain Operations.
26. Ability to prioritize, organize and manage multiple tasks to tight deadlines.
27. An understanding of regulatory requirements and management of regulatory constraints.
28. APICS or related qualification is an advantageous.
29. Understanding of Supply Chain and Regulatory operations in a cGMP environment.
30. Understanding of pharmaceutical artwork management processes.
31. Knowledge of Pharmaceutical industry.
32. Project Management qualification or experience is desirable.
