 
        
        Global Manufacturing Technology Leader
This leader will spearhead a unified approach to delivering robust analytical methods and innovative solutions that support Global Manufacturing deliverables.
The team is pivotal in providing analytical expertise for technology transfers, qualification projects, Co-Development projects, and lifecycle improvements across internal and external manufacturing networks. The leader ensures alignment with GMS leadership and Research & Development (R&D), fostering agile, standardized, and technology-forward analytical support aligned with the needs of the business/customer.
Responsibilities:
 * Lead the Global Technology Analytical team, unifying the global, regional, and site-based colleagues, to support the current and future analytical technology needs of GMS.
 * Innovative solutions for analytical equipment & techniques, including automation & robotics.
 * Utilize Process Analytical Technology (PAT) for better process understanding, control & process efficiencies; enable Real Time Release.
 * An agile analytical support model for priority activities & investigations - deploying Rapid Response Laboratories/Quick Turn Laboratories (QTL's) and Contract Research Organizations (CRO's), as needed.
 * Standardize methods and instrumentation across sites, where warranted.
Maintain and develop laboratory skills and capabilities to support current and future needs. Attract, develop, and retain scientific talent. Oversee analytical method transfers and global improvement initiatives, aligned with product schedules.
Align with GMT platform leaders on projects to deliver high value with existing resources; use adaptive project management to identify, prioritize, resource, and stop projects in dynamic situations.
Ensure the GMT Analytical team can provide the analytical technologies required to support GMS needs - internally or using contract lab resources, depending on business needs.
Drive optimization/continuous improvement of analytical methods during Co-Development and lifecycle, through risk assessments and robustness/proof testing.
Ensure GMT Analytical representatives on Co-Development teams represent GMS interests and capabilities and collaborate to identify and mitigate risks.
Promote application of data analytics, statistical tools & methodologies to deliver science and data-driven solutions.
Promote innovative solutions for analytical equipment & techniques, including Process Analytical Technology (PAT), automation, and robotics.
Explore expansion of the Quick Turn Lab (QTL) model to identify opportunities within GMS where rapid turnaround and data interpretation can create value.
Drive standardization of methods and instrumentation across sites.
Support efforts to ensure compliance with emerging chemical regulations.
Promote sound knowledge management practices through shared repositories, digital tools, consultation with compendia & scientific literature, and collaboration with internal experts.
Manage manufacturing technology IP across internal and external manufacturing networks.
Conduct due diligence and technical evaluations of Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) and contract labs to support sourcing decisions.
Ensure compliance with environmental, health & safety regulations, GLP/GMP as applicable, and emerging chemical regulations.
