We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plumbing Sales / Showroom Sales Manager to lead our plumbing department and showroom team. This is a dual-role that blends hands-on showroom sales with team leadership, customer account management, and commercial strategy. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, commercially driven, and have in-depth knowledge of plumbing products and solutions. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Showroom Leadership: Manage the day-to-day operations of the plumbing showroom, ensuring it is well-presented, stocked, and customer-ready at all times. Work closely with trade and retail customers to understand their needs and provide expert advice and product recommendations. Prepare and follow up on quotations, close sales, and manage the customer journey from enquiry to after-sales care. Organise showroom events, product launches, and promotions to drive footfall and engagement. Customer & Account Management: Build strong relationships with installers, plumbers, contractors, and self-build customers. Handle key customer accounts and ensure all clients receive a high level of service and support. Manage customer complaints or escalations professionally and in a timely manner. Buying & Stock Management: Support the buying team by selecting ranges that meet market demand and reflect current trends. Liaise with suppliers on pricing, promotions, and delivery times. Monitor stock levels, manage showroom display products, and ensure strong availability. Team & Reporting: Monitor performance against sales targets and KPIs; deliver regular reports to senior management. Train and develop team members, including product knowledge, sales skills, and system use. Work closely with the branch team on overall sales strategy and operational efficiency.
