This is a contract role based in Galway. About Your New Job Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of environmental performance data on a monthly and annual basis, ensuring alignment with internal standards and applicable regulatory and certification requirements. Lead initiatives to reduce environmental impact across areas such as emissions, energy use, waste, water consumption, and process-related outputs, in line with long-term sustainability objectives. Develop, implement, and monitor programs aimed at reducing workplace incidents and supporting best-in-class health and safety performance. Apply appropriate tools and methodologies to identify, assess, and mitigate ergonomic and operational risks, supporting safe and efficient systems of work. Provide technical support for operational processes, including surface treatment and effluent management activities, ensuring compliance and environmental protection. What Skills You Need Bachelor of Science in Environmental, Health & Safety; post-graduate qualification is desirable. 2-3 years in a world-class manufacturing environment preferred. Proficiency in statistical and graphical tools such as Pareto analysis and A3s. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from associates, supervisors, and managers. Strong work ethic, self-motivated learner, and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
