HVAC Technician Job Description
The primary objective of this role is to deliver high-quality HVAC installations, maintenance and repairs services to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Installation and/or maintenance of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
* Service call-out and repair work on HVAC kits.
* Locating faults in systems and equipment and repairing issues.
* Working on various air conditioning systems, mainly Mitsubishi, Toshiba, and Daikin.
* Responding to emergency customer calls for repairs such as leaks and other problems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Detailed knowledge of HVAC techniques, materials, and equipment.
* A completed apprenticeship in refrigeration and air conditioning.
* A full clean driving license.
* A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
* Experience supervising or overseeing work.
* The ability to understand technical drawings and plans.
* Excellent practical and problem-solving skills.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills, as you'll be dealing with customers regularly.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A meticulous approach to work.
* Knowledge of industry safety standards, gas regulations, and legal guidelines.
