The post holder will be responsible for working within a rotational framework, providing occupational therapy services to adults experiencing mental health difficulties. The role will involve formulating assessments, planning and coordinating care, and integrating delivery across multi-disciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Formulating occupational therapy assessments and developing person-centred plans.
 * Planning and coordinating care delivery, taking into account individual needs and goals.
 * Integrating care delivery across multiple disciplines and agencies, promoting seamless service provision.
Requirements:
 * Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
 * Registration with the relevant regulatory body (CORU).
 * Experience of working with adults experiencing mental health difficulties.
 * Ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams.

About the Role:
This staff grade occupational therapist position is part of a wider rotation, offering the opportunity to experience various services across Highfield Healthcare Mental Health Services. The rotational framework allows for flexibility, taking into account post-holders preferences and career goals. Opportunities include working in acute adult inpatients, day hospital and home-based treatment services. Rotations occur every 9 months, facilitating diverse experiences and skills acquisition. In this role, you will have the chance to contribute to the development of innovative local and national practices while working with clear evidence-based frameworks and outcome measures. The team prioritises the integration of care delivery across multiple disciplines, ensuring comprehensive support for individuals.
