Quality Assurance Manager
Location: Waterford (On-site, Monday to Friday)Industry: Multinational FMCG ManufacturingContract: 8-9 MonthsOn behalf of my client, a leading multinational food manufacturing company, I am recruiting for a QA Manager on an 8 month contract. This site-based role will report to the Operations Manager and lead all aspects of quality and food safety within the facility. The successful candidate will manage a small team of quality and technical professionals in a fast paced manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the implementation and maintenance of food safety and quality management systems.Lead BRC and customer audits, ensuring compliance and readiness at all times.Manage, coach, and develop a technical and quality team to achieve operational excellence.Ensure compliance with regulatory, company, and customer requirements for food safety and quality.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement continuous improvement initiatives.Serve as the primary contact for external bodies and customers on technical and quality matters.RequirementsProven experience in a technical or quality leadership role within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.Strong expertise in leading BRC audits and managing customer audit processes.In-depth knowledge of food safety and quality standards, legislation, and compliance.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of quality and food safety.Next Generation are specialists in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, Technical and Operation (permanent, contract and temporary) positions.Applications are in strict confidence.Next Generation will never share your data outside of our organisation without your prior written consent.Please read our Data Protection Policy on our website.
