What You Can Expect
This position is responsible for providing efficient and effective IT support for two Manufacturing Sites (24x7) in Ireland and internal (international) office users. The role involves providing professional solutions for complex IT problems, working independently on various IT projects, and maintaining global IT standards and processes.
How You'll Create Impact
* Provide fast and competent technical support to complex IT problems and questions from users and manufacturing equipment.
* Provide first and second level IT support in English.
* Prioritize incidents, project work, and support tasks.
* Identify patterns in incidents and resolve underlying issues.
* Build and maintain relationships with users and experts.
* Track issues using helpdesk tools.
What Makes You Stand Out
Special expertise:
* Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* User Management Tools
* Excellent Windows OS knowledge (XP to Windows 11)
* Knowledge of MS Exchange, Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, DNS/DHCP, MS Access, MS SQL
* Preferred knowledge of Service-Now Ticketing System
* Basic knowledge of ERP systems, Microsoft AutoPilot, SCCM, or similar tools
* Ability to maintain contacts with international customers
* Willingness to be on standby for emergency duties outside normal hours
* Project management skills for small projects and participation in larger projects
* Customer-oriented, collaborative, proactive
* Ability to work under high workload and time pressure
Personal skills:
* Clear and concise communication
* Responsibility and ownership of IT issues
* Strong English skills, both spoken and written
* Effective support and communication with end-users
Your Background
Education:
* Commercial or technical education with strong IT knowledge
* Leaving certificate and further education in computer science or related fields
* Preferred certifications: A+, Network+, MCP, MCSA, MCSE
Professional experience:
* 2-3 years of experience as an IT Support Analyst
